Homestretch appointments

This is my first pregnancy and I am almost 37 weeks. At my last two appointments the doctor didn’t even measure my belly or feel for baby’s position. The last time they did was at 31 weeks. At my 36 week they only did the gbs test and did not check for dilation. Is this normal at this point in pregnancy with only 4 weeks left? I feel like they should at least be measuring and making sure her growth is okay and that she is head down still (she was at 31 weeks). I know every practice is different, but just wondering what most have encountered at this point.
