Anyone else trying to lose weight before getting pregnant?

I am! I call it “operation sweating for the baby”. I am determined to lose at least 20 pounds. I have worked out for a straight 3 years and not stopping now even when I get pregnant. I think losing the weight will help me adjust to my body changing physically. I dread the weight gain from pregnancy and praying my way of eating now will help that 9 months!

My husband and I want to have our second (our first is one) I’m down 30lbs from pre pregnancy and 75lbs from the largest part of my pregnancy.

Yes me ! I’ve had three miscarriage in a row and I have to go through a whole ‘check list’ of things Incase I ever need something bigger like IVF. My insurance will wanna see I did everything I can to try have a baby naturally. One of those things was to lose weight. I’ve been on weight watchers about 2 weeks now and I’m about 6lbs down. I recommend it. I’m not huge or anything and my doctor wasn’t concerned about my weight and being pregnant either but Bc I’m over weight in the least it’s on the list... it will only help me during and after tho so I’m trying to stick with it

My husband and I are TTC now. I’m 35 and he is 40. We’ve been trying now for about six months. I’m thinking that loosing weight would help. I need to lose about 40 lbs.

yup! ideally I need to lose about 80 pounds total to get back to a really healthy weight. I'm down 23 of that, so about 60 pounds left. it's hard because it's the only thing left for us to do before we start TTC

Yes! I have about 11-13 lbs to go but now that we have nice weather in California now, I'll be taking my 2 year old son on walks with me. I can't do crazy workouts anymore thanks to 2 bulged discs in my lower back 😔😔😔

Me!!!!! I gained a bunch of weight through depression and I’m finally getting over it. And me and my boyfriend of 5 years(this June) are ready to have a child of our own. I have 2 boys from a previous relationship. 
I gained around 50+ pounds. And my goal is to lose 40! I want to have a healthy pregnancy too and I’m 35 now! 
I haven’t had my IUD removed yet. I’ve heard of people getting pregnant right after removing it and I’ve also heard of it taking a year or so! 🤷🏼‍♀️
So now I’m not sure if I should wait! Maybe wait until I’m getting close to my goal? 🧐
