When I think there's something going on with me and my boyfriend, I mostly talk about it with his 5 brothers (he doesn't have any sisters). We've been together 6 years and I've gotten so close to his brothers, they're like family to me. I mostly talk about it with Justin (His younger brother by one year) because I'm a little bit closer to him. I just want to know if this is normal/okay or if it's not normal/not okay and I should stop doing it. Whatever you vote, please comment your reason to think this.

I guess I would just be careful about what you choose to share. Some people would say to talk to your bf because y’all need communication.. BUT if you’re anything like  me I can be a little dramatic so sometimes I just need to get out of my mind and not really worry him about it . I say if you’re just walking yourself through it with the help of someone else continue. Just watch your boundaries

I talk to my bfs sister and his mom about a lot of our relationship stuff because usually any issue I'm having is a me issue and not really because of him so I run it by them to vent or whatever and see if its something worth stressing him over

dont say anything hurtful about him or something you would be upset if he heard about because those are his brothers and they may go off and tell him but they also probably know him best so if he seems off i dont see any problem with asking them what the deal is or venting about it
