So my MIL is great and I am really lucky to have her but I am not fond of the idea of her even visiting the room while I am in labor. Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation? She knows that she will not be there for the actual delivery but she seems to think that being there for the labor is ok. She said "you could be in labor for 24 hours, of course you are going to let me be in the room!" I didn't really answer her but I don't feel comfortable with anyone but my husband in the room. Not even my mother or sister have been invited to come until after the birth. Any feedback is appreciated. I am being induced tomorrow!
