Parenting DOUBLE STANDARD

One day I took my 6 month old in the shower with me and I was going to tell my boyfriend he should try it .. then I thought to myself no that’s weird she doesn’t need to go in the shower with him 😭 THEN I was thinking how if I had a son I would probably take him in the shower/bathroom with me so why do I get so weirded out at the thought of my daughter going in the bathroom with her dad. I know many women who have sons that see them naked daily but I don’t think I know any males that have daughters seeing then naked. Women even bring their sons into public bathrooms but men don’t do the same with their daughters.

So lets have a discussion about this. Do you think it’s weird or inappropriate for little girls to see their fathers naked ? If so why and how is it different from little boys seeing their mothers naked ? Share your thoughts with me.

I just want to edit this and say I’m not sexualizing anything ! I never said that. I said it was weird .. ya know when people aren’t familiar with certain situations they cannot understand it & so it is “weird”. I’ve never showered with my father and I do not know many .. if any girls that have done it either. I was just trying to educate myself and see other’s opinions and experiences.
