Taking month old baby to salon while I get pedi?

I have a 4 week old baby and a nail salon gift certificate about to expire. It’s a Tuesday afternoon so I’m sure it won’t be busy. I plan on holding him the entire time. But would the smell be too much? Just really need a pedicure.

I think the smell is way too much for a newborn. I can hardly stand the smell as an adult 😷 I really don’t think it’s a good idea.

My daughter was with me when I got my nails done 5 weeks postpartum. She just slept the whole time 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I don’t personally have issues with taking a baby out so it just wasn’t a big deal to me. The staff at the salon I go to are fantastic. We were right next to the door (which was open) and I don’t do acrylics or anything like that. So she wasn’t breathing in funes and things like that.

The “smell” is from chemicals your baby does not need to be around, don’t d it!

Just go when it’s not busy. As long as they’re not doing acrylics right next to his little nose he’ll be fine. But tbh it should be time without him you know. Get a little break.
