Menstrual Cups??

Question

I’ve heard just about every women who uses menstrual cups LOVES it. I never quite understood them, but now I’m kinda curious and considering. How do they work? What all do you have to do with them to maintain a good and healthy cycle? These might sound like weird questions but they’re serious lol.

A lot of girls on this app are happy about their cups so I've decided to try one myself and I literally love it! I bought a ladycup and meluna cup and they both are great. They collect all your blood and then you have to empty them at least every 12 hours (for me it's every 5-6 hours during my heaviest days). I used to have terrible cramps because of tampons and simply hated the pads (this feeling of blood on your ladyparts, bruh) so menstrual cups are perfect for me. When inserted correctly you can't feel your cup and there's no leaks. You may need some time to get used to your cup but one day it'd be easy peasy :)

they sit inside you and collect the blood. for me, I empty every 12 hours, rinse and wash with a gentle unscented soap, and insert again. after my cycle is done, I boil for 5 minutes and then air dry. it then goes in its little cotton bag until the next cycle. easy peasy
