Actually babies that suffer from GERD are often orescribed RICE cereal as an added supplement to their formula- the reason is that a heartier more viscous substance is not as easily thrown up. My mother in-law used it for all 4 of her kids as she’s a doctor and nedded to get back into the office after 6 weeks so it helped keep her kids (my future husband) asleep through the night. And yes maybe thats not the best excuse to use it but hey it worked for her and my husband is at least in my opinion pretty perfect!
