I have self diagnosed myself with cystic acne. I have struggled with acne for over 3 years now. My insurance never would pay for a dermatology visit. Until this month my mom called one more time and they finally approved the visit. A lot of people told with with cystic acne the only thing that helps is cortisone shots. Well the waiting list is four months away. Prom is May 19. I’m in complete stress mode and willing to try anything. I wash my face twice a day, I drink at least 80oz of water, I exfoliate and do plenty of masks and nothing seems to help. Please if you know anything that may help or has worked for you let me know!
