anyone else dealing with a very dependent baby? she just turned 8 months a week ago, and I noticed she has fits if I put her on the ground to encourage movement. she can stand up on her own, even if only for a moment, and is crawling.

But she will fuss and cry if I'm not on the floor with her so she can use me as a personal jungle gym. she will get upset if I do not carry her everywhere or even if i just sit on the couch while trying to encourage her to do her own thing. she doesn't try to use anything except me or daddy to pull up.

she only crawls to things she is extremely interested in.

she was like this with rolling over too. she only rolled over when it was absolutely necessary for her, like if she was uncomfortable in her crib.

I'm exhausted. not sure if I'm doing something wrong? I've just put 2 and 2 together, that that's where temper tantrums are coming from.
