My son has had severe leg pain for the last 3 weeks, that came out of no where... he wakes up in the night screaming in pain and it doesn’t get any better in the day either. Pain medication isn’t working consistently enough anymore (paracetamol/Tylenol and ibuprofen). Doctors ruled out growing pains as they Are more severe than that and constant over a 3 week period, day and night. He’s been taken to AnE where he had an X Ray.. that came back normal and they diagnosed Shin Splints... but his legs are showing no improvement after 3 weeks,

So I don’t think it’s that anymore. So I went back to doctor...who ordered him blood tests for Leukaemia, and Vitamin D deficiency amongst other things but I’m worried beyond belief. I’m sat in bed crying at 5am imagining all the worst possible scenarios. I couldn’t imagine life without my baby boy and I just want him to be ok.... results are on Friday!
