IUI and IVF - donor sperm

My doc wants to go right to

- insurance replied requesting 6 IUI attempts .. we would be using a donor ..

This is so scary that we could fail then have success and run into not being able to get any sperm from the same donor!

The doc is appealing .... holy stress
