Would you recommend the Halo bassinet?

I am considering getting this. Also, it will just be baby and I in one room together and this looks like it won’t take up too much space. Do you think I have to get a crib right away? Or is just the bassinet fine for the first few months? Thanks.

I HIGHLY recommend the Halo. It is wonderful. I am so sad that my daughter is outgrowing it, but like I said, it's AMAZING! It's DEFINITELY one of my favorite products.

My son used the halo until he was able to sit up on his own, then we moved him to a crib. I loved the halo and will definitely be using it for baby #2

The bassinet is wonderful, but it does take up quite a bit of room, especially for the legs. It’s extremely heavy, which makes it very stable, but it’s hard to lift when you’re pregnant so ask someone to help you. We moved my son into his crib full time after using the Halo for 2 months, but I’ve heard of others using it longer. We moved my son because he’d wake up sideways with his legs sticking straight up against the side of the bassinet.
The drop down side is wonderful. The swivel motion is flawless and very useful. The mesh sides are breathable so you don’t have to worry about your baby suffocating, and you can buy all kinds of organic bedding options! Overall I was happy with it, but I think next time I’ll be buying the lotus travel crib bundle with the bassinet option because it’s a little bigger, but easier to store when not in use.

I bought mine used. most people only use it for up to 4 to 6 months and so most of them for sale are still brand new judt give it a good wipe down and you a good to go. I paid half the price. I chose the Halo because it's the closest you can get to co sleeping without actually co sleeping in the same bed.
