Is an IUI painful?

I didn't experience any pain whatsoever. the only thing I felt was the speculum and didn't even know the IUI was done until the doc took the speculum out!

The IUI itself was painless.  The reason I had pain was because my doctor had to pull my cervix down.  My cervix seems to know whenever I have a doctor appointment because it starts acting like a diva lol.

Today was my 3rd.  All 3 I’ve had a mild cramp.  Doc waits likes 10 seconds and then pushes sperm in.   No biggie at all.  Little crampy in the evening but barely.

No, it's just like getting a pap smear. It's done in literally 3 minutes if that.

I had my first today. I was kinda surprised about the cramping. I didn’t think I’d feel anything but I did. Wasn’t super painful but was uncomfortable for a minute or two. Maybe I have a low tolerance for pain? 🤷‍♀️😂

Nope. HSG was way more painful.
