Dissolve stitches 😱

Mommas I’m 3weeks PP i had a 1st degree tear on the outside ( near my urethra sorry tmi ) and once inside, i just wanted to know how would you know if the stitches are fully dissolved ? Would they fall out ? Do you pull them ? ( just have to ask that dumb one lol )
