What are some things you know now, that you wish you knew when you had your first child?

Children are born with their own personalities. You can only help them with their morals. You should work WITH their personalities, not against them.

That from newborn to 3 months old is basically the fourth trimester and they should be held and snuggled constantly and don’t need much other stimulation. I was putting my newborn in a play gym at a few weeks old 😂 Also, that crying is normal and it’s their only way to communicate at that age and it doesn’t make you a bad parent if your baby cries often, just pick that baby up and do what you can to soothe him/her. I had relatives/in laws telling me I didn’t need to pick my newborn up every time he cried even though my instinct told me too. 🙄
