I was 4 days passed my due date with NO signs of going into labor.. then the morning of April 7th I woke at 2am to pee (like every night) but I had a tummy ache. After about 15 minutes BAM I had my first contraction. And this was INTENSE! This was my first baby and I always had the assumption that you ease into labor, but nope not me. After my first contraction they kept coming steadily at 2 minutes apart lasting a minute. I thought I was crazy! but my mom told me to call the midwife and she came around 3:30 and I called for my birthing pool. I labored on the floor until the pool was filled and I welcomed my little girl into this world at 7:28am. I couldn't believe how fast it all happened, but I got my all natural water birth and it was beautiful.
