provera side effects

has anyone taken provera to start a period and had any side effects? this is my 6th day taking it and the last 2/3 days my headaches and migraines have been worse than ever. my meds won't work and pain killers don't help. I'm not taking them anymore and gunna speak to drs tomorrow but wondered if it'd happened to anyone else?
