TTC - Spironolactone?

Question

I have PCOS and am a little overweight. A couple of years ago when I was first diagnosed with PCOS, I was given spironolactone and feel like it really helped me get my weight under control (and also helped with hair and acne issues). Wondering if I should ask to start taking this again as I’ve regained weight and am now TTC?
Has anyone had success TTC while taking spironolactone?

DO NOT take this while pregnant or trying to concieve causes hermaphrodite offspring among other birth defects and spontaneous abortion

I was just told do not take it while trying to conceive. Could cause birth defects

I was told not to take it while TTC because of risks to a male fetus .. I did get pregnant quickly on 2000mg of metformin only, thank goodness because I’m now 27+2 with a boy. BUT I suggest asking your doctor.
