I don’t see how everyone doesn’t pick teleportation tbh. 
You could teleport to work 2 seconds before your shift. You could sleep in more and never be late for anything again. No need for planes or cars. An average weekend could mean visits to Paris, Tokyo, Mexico City, NYC, etc. Stuck in a bad situation? Teleport out. Forget something at home? Teleport back to get it. If I could take another person with me when I teleport that would be even BETTER. 
The only other superpower I might choose over teleportation would be healing.

Aqua human, since I have a bit of a fear of drowning. Plus going to the beach would be way more fun. I don’t see the point in talking to animals since they aren’t intelligent, they most likely wouldn’t understand any social constructs or things Im interested in.  My second choice would be probably invisibility or flight.
