Yes. My sister (who is a doctor and did extensive research on this) saved her colostrum and brought it to the hospital because she had GD. Ended up being a life saver because baby was rushed to NICU for low sugar and they were able to feed it to her. You keep making colostrum until birth.

Not unless your using the pump as a nipple stimulation and trying to induce labor. It doesn’t work that was for all women but most will start to contract from the stimulation.

No because all you’ll be pumping is colostrum and if you manage to bring your milk in before baby is born, that means they won’t be getting the colostrum they need at birth.
