So last week (36 wks) my midwife measured me at 41 weeks so we had to have an ultrasound. They measured baby’s weight at 7.6 lbs (+/- 1lb) and my amniotic fluid at 19...which they said is on the high-ish side of normal.

They had to discuss my “big baby” with their consulting physician and they are suggesting that these two measurements could point to me having developed gestational diabetes after the initial test.

So, tomorrow I have the 3 hour glucose test and I’m freaking out!

What happens if I’m diagnosed this late (37 wks tomorrow)? Will baby be ok!?! What are the risks to baby?
