I have an 8 year old, 2 year old, 11 month old. And EVERY single time I go anywhere with them someone AlWAYS comments “wow you have your hands full”

It drives my CRAZY!!

Like yes I know it can be a little chaotic sure they’re kids they have a lot of energy and sometimes they are cranky but man..

Telling me I have my hands full feels like an insult. That you think my kids are to much/too many?? (Sure I guess they could mean they keep me busy but their disapproving facial expressions say different)

Tell me my kids are cute or my family is adorable !

Or be like the little old lady that stopped me to tell me how my kids are such a blessing and enjoy it because it’ll go by fast!

Am I the only one that this annoys?!?

And I never know what to say instead I fake smile/ fake laugh then scowl/eyeroll as soon as they can’t see me.
