So I went for 6wk US today. Tech told us there was no heartbeat and the doctor offered us drugs to induce the miscarriage. Call it mother’s intuition but I asked the doc to do another US before I left and they found the heartbeat right away! The staff was as amazed and flabbergasted as we were. The doc called back at the end of the day and said she thinks maybe it’s twins and each US saw a different baby. The baby with no heartbeat measured 6wk3days, could it still be too early to detect or do you think this will be a vanishing twin?? Thankful but concerned. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions today.
