I was just curious, I’ve been seeing it a lot lately. How many are naming their child maverick ?

We are. We tried to pick a new name after seeing the popularity rise BUT we just could not agree on any other name. 
This is our fourth kid. We have one named Aubrie and it was waaaaaaaay down the list when we named her that over a decade ago. Knew no one with that name. It’s super popular now and we hear it everywhere. 
Same with our son Everett. He’s 7 and it was way down the list back then, now it’s way popular. We decided that our kids have unique enough middle names that they can use them. Our Brie goes by her middle name Meilani sometimes.
