Tattoo in work environment?

So I recently got my second tattoo, it is significantly bigger than the last and my mom is upset because she believes it will hurt my future in the veterinary profession. I specifically got it placed on my forearm where it can be covered with quarter sleeves under my scrubs, I will not be getting any tattoos below halfway down my forearm. None of my friends in my major or pursuing a career in the medical field think it will be a problem, especially now that the majority of younger people now have tattoos. What do you think? Do you think I’ll have a hard time becoming a Vet Tech/Veterinarian?
