So I’ve been sitting on this for awhile. But as far as current generations in regards to parenting and safety concerns / changes / updates I see a lot of “know better, do better” and then theres the “well it worked for my grandparents/parents/sister/cousin/friend”

Car seats- “5 years ago I did ______ after all the safety classes! They said it was okay and I will do it this time too!”

Sleeping habits- “I know it’s not recommended, but I want to sleep and it works for us!”

Do you think we are a bit desensitized to the reality of tragedy? Of SIDS? Proven risks of safety hazards?

Do you think current generations have the “untouchable” or “invincible” mindset?
