I’m 38 and just had my second miscarriage in a row today!!!!- I’m absolutely shattered to pieces! Strange thing is we went in at 6 weeks 4 days and saw and heard the HB which was nice and strong. Has my HCG levels tested and they put me on progesterone supplement. Everything was looking good. I was supposed to be 9 weeks 1 day today and baby measured at 6 w 5 days which means I literally lost it one day after the ultrasound with the strong heart beat!!! In December we had a miscarriage when at my 9 week appt there was no heartbeat and it measured at 8 w 4 days. Difference is with that one we never got to hear the HB. I am tired of getting the runaround from my obgyn and am looking for a fertility specialist. She had the nerve to tell me today she thinks it’s just “bad luck”. I’m sorry but I can’t wait for this to happen a 3rd, 4th. Time etc... I’m almost 39 and Time Is of the essence. When I asked her if I could see a fertility specialist she said I don’t have a fertility issue Bc I’m getting pregnant easily. Bullshit!!!2 in a row isn’t normal and I need to understand why this is happening. I decided to get a second ultrasound next week just to make sure they are right and it’s really gone. Then I’ll have a d&c; on Wednesday. I wanna know why if I lost it almost three weeks ago why I haven’t passed it yet. No cramps, bleeding nothing. My first angel was due in July this one November. I can’t believe I’ve dealt with two consecutive losses now. I think I really need a specialist or genetic counselor. She mentioned chromosomal testing to make sure there isn’t a problem with either me or my husbands chromosomes. Anyway else experience two in a row?? I feel so lost at this point. And why haven’t they done blood work or taken a urine sample?? Nothing!!
