Honesty to our kids about food
I’m running off of the is it ok to eat dogs topic.
I grew up on a farm. Animals came, they died, my family ate them. I went through waves as a kid of not eating meat because... well, dinner was my friend.
I’ve chosen to raise my son and my siblings
have too with the truth but we get a lot of slack from it.
If they say. What’s beef? I say “you know the cows on the farm? That’s your cheeseburger kid.”
Do you think it’s damaging to be so blunt to them at such a young age?
