I would do it. I’m guessing you wouldn’t have to go all out with ten million gifts like a shower. It could be coed with a small registry for a few things to help you guys out with #2.

I’m doing a full blown shower for my third. My oldest is 6 and I had a baby shower for her and my youngest daughter will be 2 in June, we didn’t have anything for her but since this is my last baby and my first boy I’m having one.

I’m doing a backyard bbq at the beginning of June at my house where everyone comes. On the invite I wrote “as for gifts, only diapers or gift cards will do”. It’s my second boy and really all I want/need is diapers and gift cards for formula lol. My aim though is to not make it a baby shower at all - no games or anything along those lines. Just a simple summer bbq where people just so happen to bring me diapers lol

We’re doing a sprinkle/shower and have been to plenty for other friends second kiddos! This time around we’re just going to do a low key boys and girls BBQ, if it’s nice we’re going to set up outdoor water activities for the kids 😃
