Girl ended up a boy?

Has anyone ever been told their baby was a girl at their 18 week anatomy scan and end up having a boy? Pics of ultrasound?

Happened to me with my first born. At 15 weeks they said girl. At 30 weeks, 5 days before my baby shower found out it was a boy.

No one I know has had this happen recently, but it happened to my aunt when she was pregnant with her first.
She was told multiple times she was having a girl so she bought a bunch of girl stuff. She ended up moving shortly before her due date, out of state with her husband. She moved to Texas where she didn’t know anyone. She went to an appointment there and they said “boy” and she said no it’s a girl. She was literally a couple weeks away from having her baby. The doctor told her no, it’s definitely a boy, the other doctor was wrong. She of course started crying because she didn’t have a job or anyone that could help get boy stuff since she only had girl things. 
I don’t think there’s a very high possibility to get the gender wrong, nowadays.

It can happen specially if the baby is a little shy, my son we knew and when we got our gender scan with my daughter we didn’t see any boy anything😂 the u/s tech even said all that thinking pink must’ve worked bc it’s a girl! Now I just can’t wait for her to get here!

Happened to my parents with me but, again, this was over 30 years ago. My mom just had the one ultrasound and they were all set to name me Abraham. 😂

My older sister had 5 boys already and was told her 6th baby would be a girl. She got about half way through her pregnancy before finding out it was going to be another boy, luckily before her shower. But she finally got a baby girl for her 7th pregnancy lol.

I have a similar story to another commenter. my MIL was told my husband was a girl, he came out a boy and they didn't have a name for a few days, until I believe it was a friend of theirs, suggested a name, which they chose to go with. they also had girl stuff for a bit 🙈 but that was 26, almost 27, years ago.

My MIL was told my husband would be a girl and low and behold, he's clearly not. lol. he had to wear girl clothes doe a few days until she was able to pick up some boy things.
