So we think our 5 month old daughter is hitting the separation anxiety stage. We have noticed when we go my my parents house, she's fine for a bit. The moment she gets picked up and held she starts crying. They do things to get her distracted like walking around, playing with her, etc, but she's not having it. She also does it with my gf's side of the family. We currently live with her family, and since she sees them more frequent than my family, she doesn't act the same way. Any advice or recommendations you guys can give us? I am sad and disappointed in myself, that my family is unable to hold her without crying. My family understands that she wants her mom and dad holding her, but I want her to be familiar with everybody. Last week my mom watched her for a few hours and said she was fine, no crying. I want her to be close to my family and hers.
