How long did you wait to ttc again after c section?

My daughter is 9 months old, she’s my first and I had her via emergency c section, I’m sooo broody already though! I heard you’re supposed to wait 18 months? How long did you wait and did you have any complications if you did get pregnant not long after?? Thanks :)

My doctor told me
I should wait a year unless I want another c section she said if I don't mind another c section about 6 months should do

My close friend had 3 csections all 18 months apart (so got pregnant at 9 months pp each time) and her doctor was never worried and cleared her to go for a forth if she wanted to. But all women are different and make scar tissue differently.

My dr told me to wait at least 12 months but I got pregnant when my son was 10 months and I had a miscarriage. So we stopped ‘trying’ until now he’s 15 months, but I’m having a second miscarriage possibly☹️ 
I don’t wanna scare you! ☹️ but I am now going to wait a while to ‘try’ again😭💔
