TMI: how long was it before you could poop after a c section?

I had my c section Friday night and it's my first one, they gave me a stool softener Saturday night, but I haven't been able to go at all and I just want to know if that normal or if anyone else had issues like this? It hurts to pee a lot and I'm just worried, is this normal?
