Boy or girl???

Question

I was told a boy at week 13 and a girl at week 14. Both through ultra sound. 2 different drs. So which do I believe. The first dr didn’t seem too sure ( uuhhhh maybe boy) the second dr was like see these three lines.  I don’t go back until may 7 and I don’t know if they’ll do another scan. But now I really want to know. So what do you think??

As someone else said, a bit early for 100% confirmed (my OB says she refuses to confirm 100% until 20 weeks, and anything before that is a GUESS).

Super early, unless you get the genetic blood test which is pretty much 100 %. My sister is a picu and now a nicu nurse...when she was pregnant with her second she was pretty sure it was a boy. scans pointed to it being a boy...  Come to find out, a few weeks before birth her doctor wanted her to come in because her numbers were a bit low for a boy annnnnd it turned out she was having a girl!  So ya never know for sure 😉

Yes its way to early. I see a lot of people getting elective ultrasounds earlier than recommend. Last group i was One person thought they were having a girl and it ended up being a boy at 20weeks and at birth it was a boy, and a couple more happened like that as well

Honestly it's still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too soon to be confirmed. I wouldn't say either way until your may 7th us

If they saw the three lines,I'd say girl. parts could have still been swollen when they told you boy.

Agreed that via ultrasound it’s just too hard to tell unless baby gave you a perfect shot of in between the legs but even still baby boys parts are just finally starting to show on ultrasound at that stage and can be really hard to tell. My sister in law was pregnant with twins and was told she was having two girls until 28 weeks they finally got a clear shot of one of the twins and it was a boy! She had just about weekly ultrasounds since she was IVF and high risk with twins and they still had it wrong. Of course a single will be much easier to tell before then but that just shows you if baby isn’t cooperating it will be difficult until baby is bigger.
