Question

My son is 8 months and he has been having diarrhea for a week now. I don’t know if I should take him to the doctors yet? Has this every happened to your babies? 
( He is also teething)

Answer

It's a myth that babies have diarrhea while teething. I have had 4 different doctors tell me it's not true.
My LO has 6 teeth coming in and he's got the firmest poops.
It could be a small stomach bug, a reaction to something you ate (breastfeeding), or a reaction to something he ate if he's eating solids. 
If it continues, there is a concern for dehydration. 
I would call his Dr just to be sure and see what they think. They may suggest offering water or juice to prevent dehydration, or extra feedings if you're BFing.

normal for teething babies! so is a slight fever and runny noses. its crazy but its true!
