So I learned quickly that it's not sexy to schedule sex, or keep it routine just during the fertile window, and it's definitely not sexy to always do it in the same place or position. Talking about ovulation and fertility didn't make my hubby wanna do me more... let's be honest. So I started racking my brain trying to think of ways to keep it fun and it's really going well. It's also giving me a whole new confidence surrounding sex that I've never had before! So I felt like spreading the love and advice to help any of you couples out there that are TTC and losing the spark in the process. My husband did tell me that if it's the "real important" day (aka O day) and if I got my "smiley thing" that he wanted to know so that even if he didnt necessarily feel up to it, he could power through anyway lol.

Here are a few of the most fun things I've come up with that keep it fun for both of us without spending much money:

- send a dirty picture for his eyes only in the middle of the day when he least expects it. Don't do it all the time or he will get used to it and it won't have the same effect. Pair it with a sexy little message that could be as simple as "thinking of you😘"

- create a sexy time scavenger hunt that he comes home from work to. Leave the first note on the door he comes in telling him where to find the first clue and go from there. At each stop leave a little surprise that will get his imagination going. I've used things like a skimpy pair of my underwear, BJ pop rocks, flavored sex syrup, a cock ring, a little vibrating bullet... literally anything that makes his wheels start turning. Maybe whipped cream or massage oil to get him thinking those sexy thoughts. You are the last clue so you should make it short if you have a small house like us. He should find you last, prepped and ready looking like a snack lol. He won't be able to resist

- I asked him in casual convo one day what his top 5 sex positions were and made a mental note. I made a jar with pieces of paper with a fun position written on each one. We know that positions during sex are a myth when TTC but we all still like to improve our chances so this doesn't have to be the end all position. I either draw it from the jar before he gets home and surprise him during sex with the position or get him ready to go by letting him draw one and be surprised when he opens it.

- I also made a jar with locations OTHER THAN THE BEDROOM or the bed to mix up things and keep them fun and interesting. Let him draw so he can get excited about it. My list includes places like the kitchen table, on the washing machine, on the edge/armrest of the couch (This would be great for TTC because it naturally elevates the hips and assists with gravity), straddling him in his recliner, the bed of his truck, the tractor, the front porch stairs at night.... literally go through your entire area and think of every place to do it. Take a risk. The worst thing that can happen is that it doesn't work well with your bodies and you move or pound it out and know not to do it there again.

Really hope this gives you ladies and idea of ways to keep stress out of the bedroom and keep thing fun and flirty so he will always want more!!

- Finally, on my O day, I make a cute invitation on the computer that says something like "You're invited" on the front and when he opens it, the inside says "To a party in my pants!!" and I put a big smiley on there so he gets the picture that it's an important day!
