I think if you are someone that has a hard time as a teenager a secure relationship is a lot better because your partner helps you through everything, but depending on the person just having friends with benefits could be more fun

I fucked around a lot but when I was a senior, I met the one guy worth settling down for and we’re still together and have a baby 🤷🏻‍♀️ (relevant because all of this happened during my “teen” years as I’m only 19)

Neither. I spent my teenage years away from boys, because I wasn't done preparing a life for myself. Once I had a plan for my life and a means of providing for myself without depending on others, like a man, I started dating men. not boys. 
Best decision ever. I met my honey now we're married at 21 with 2 full time jobs, 1,000 sq ft apartment, and a dog. My husband is also attending college. 
Our goal from day one? No games, we wanted something serious or not at all. Now we're on our way to becoming a power couple.

that all depends on the person. during my teen years I had more serious relationships but now I have a friend with benefits and love it way more that being in a relationship. I wouldn't have wanted a fuck buddy in high school or early college though

I think as long as its safe sex, friends with benefits would be better as there is usually less drama and no feeling to get in the way of studies and friends. Plus a bit of stress releasing sex never hurt anyone
