4 months starting baby food?

My daughter had her 4 month doctor appointment today and the doc said she was ready to start baby food! Guys, I’m dying I feel like she is growing way too fast! I thought I had until 6 months. Anyone else starting solids? I think I might wait a few more weeks.

Yesss exactly what my doctor said baby girl is 4 months today ! Born dec 15th ❤️❤️exactly how I feel like time flew !  Plan on slowly introducing her

We were cleared too and he enjoys it. You can tell when they aren’t ready for food because they literally can’t swallow it. 6 is a bit far fetch for me, I just stay away from anything with milk.  We only do stage 1 bananas and organic apples

Hi yep our little guy born on 7th dec 17 
He watches us eat makes mouth actions as we chew so we started to feed, it's messy and not all that convenient yet, but we give him a little bit of food when we eat and he just enjoys being let of the group i think😂
So far he's tried.....(everything mushed right up by the way)  banana, potato, porridge, sweet potato mushed with broccoli and a little bit of formula... 
Banana seems to be his favourite ☺️
Good luck, no need to rush it or do huge meals just little tastes slowly and let them keep enjoying their milk as well 👍
Every baby is different, this little guy was wanting food from 3months but we waited till now and still just little bits here and there at the moment 😜

My son’s pedi said the same thing. Personally I think he’s too young. I’m going to wait until he can sit up on his own before starting to feed him. Probably closer to 6 months.
