Did you use tampons during your 1st period after egg retrieval?

My egg retrieval was 10 days ago and we did a freeze all so I just got my period today. Is it okay to use a tampon? (I absolutely detest pads)

Answer

I answered no but I realize now that I did use tampons. I don’t know why but I was thinking of the pads immediately after ER.
