Finally, the day has come for my first pre-natal appointment. I never thought to ask this, but does anyone know what they generally do for your first appointment? Mine is going to be with a nurse practitioner this morning until I decide on a doctor for subsequent checkups. Will anything be different with a checkup with a nurse instead of the doctor? I’m really hoping for some clear ultrasound pictures today (I’m 8.5 weeks along). What should I expect??
