I have struggled massively with my body during pregnancy and the changes it's taking. I have a autoimmune skin condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa which causes incredible sores and abscesses under the breasts and inside the groin which has worsened by 100% during pregnancy. living with the shame of my condition is sometimes difficult and the embarrassment is something that haunts me every day. I am so frightened to go into labour and scared of what the midwives will think of me but super excited to meet my baby girl. My partner is incredibly supportive and helps to bathe me and ease my pain but the lack of painkillers is now taking it's toll and in a way will be glad when it's all over. The photograph attached is the least affected area.
