Went into the hospital Monday night to be induced at 39w. Spent 12h with cervidal and NOTHING! No thinning, no dilation, and just minor cramping/contractions. The doctor ordered another ultrasound and baby appears to be quite large (especially his head). Neither of my doctors felt comfortable with another induction method as they feel my pelvis is too narrow to pass his head. I was classified as a failure to progress. The OR was completely booked so I was sent home. We go in tomorrow morning at 6am for a 7:30am c-section. It’s been an emotional roller coaster ride over the past few days. I am beyond ready to meet our son 💙
