Hand foot mouth
Took my 17th month old to urgent care last night in a panic bc I saw bumps forming around her mouth. I started crying thinking someone had given her cold sores. However, doctor diagnosed her with Hand Foot Mouth. Said to just treat fever and keep her fluids up. My question is, Is it normal for them to not want to swallow? Shes letting a lot of spit build up and the when she tries to swallow she ends up coughing/choking on her spit.
