Best coming of age novels for boys and/or girls?

I’ve saved some of my personal favorites from when I was going through those changes and girly feels. I’m curious if you had your favorites and what some quality novels are, especially for boys!

Harry Potter, the hunger games, and chaos walking are books I would totally recommend (for any gender) Serafina and the black cloak and the testing are amazing but a little more female inclined

"tiger eyes" was a huge favorite of mine. I loved that book. also "a ring of endless light" was fantastic but so, so sad. for boys the one I loved was "the outsiders", I actually have a line from that book tattooed onto me, it made such a deep impression. another one for older boys that is more mature but affected me really deeply is "legends of the fall", I know it's a movie but the novella it's based on is one of the most powerful pieces of literature I've ever read.

Older book, but elsewhere is an amazing book that I read growing up. It’s a little depressing in the beginning but the story is amazing and about coming of age. Totally suggest it!!
