How to dry up milk supply quickly?

How do I stop producing milk? I am done breastfeeding, and would like to dry up my supply! How long does this usually take??

Depends on what you want your experience to be lol. You can reduce feedings slowly by taking out a feeding every like 4 days. Which takes forever but eventually you’ll be down to one feeding a day for a few days and then you should be able to just quit pretty painless. Or if you want to stop cold turkey then stop and use cabbage leaves in your bra. But you’re supposed to smash them a little bit to get the juices flowing first and it smells weird. Lol you’ll get engorged and it’s pretty painful and will be that way for a week or two. You also have a higher chance of getting mastitis or clogged ducts that way.

Put cabbage leaves in your bra. Sounds weird but it works. If you need to express milk, only express a little until you get relief. You can be mostly dried up in 1-2 weeks.

how old is your baby and how quickly did you stop feeding? I stopped with my one year old and it's been pretty painless. I didn't need to do anything special, just stopped feeding him the last boob session he was having
