Is she getting any milk?

I pumped until I was “empty” then my daughter woke up & I put her on my boob. Idk if she got any milk because when I recently pumped, little to none was coming out. She did fall asleep though so if she was still hungry I assume she’d be crying & fussy? Also, how Can I increase my supply?

Baby is WAY more efficient than a pump so even when the pump can't get anymore your baby will be able to.

It’s never totally empty! And by letting you little nurse on “a empty” breast you tell your body to make more. It can take a little time before you notice that you make more. Just be careful not to get a crazy oversupply, that’s no fun.

What another commenter said, it’s never completely empty! They’re filling as up as we drain them, that’s what creates your supply. So having baby on the breast and pumping is the most efficient way to increase supply

even if u pump till no more comes out, when u put ur bby on ur breast she still gets milk out of there. as long as u keep putting baby on the breast the more milk.
