I have been fighting depression since my baby was born (4 months ago). My husband doesn’t want me to quit my full time job that is making me depressed. I literally can’t stand my job , but jobs in my area, especially ones that pay well, are extremely hard to find . I don’t want to work full time and prefer to work part time. Every single day I tell my husband that I’m sad, I’m depressed , etc but he acts like he doesn’t care . I feel like if a job is making your significant other very depressed , then why wouldn’t you support them in quitting , especially if you know what their desire is. Why would you just let them be depressed every single day and not help them. He sees me cry, he hears my complaints about the situation ..yet he goes on like he’s not worried about it because all he cares about is money . So let you spouse continue to be severely depressed knowing what the cause is? I don’t understand what his problem is . I just feel like other husbands would be like “look, I love you and I don’t want you feeling like this anymore so let’s do what we need to do and things will be fine and work out.”
