Fifths Disease
Today I received a phone call from my OB that I have tested positive for fifths disease after all three of my children had it. Normally , adults have already had it at some point in their childhood without even knowing. Apparently I hadn’t and because I am pregnant the baby could have contracted it and is at risk for anemia. Anyone ever experience this or know someone who has? I’m now having to be monitored weekly by ultrasound and I’m so upset.
