To shave or not to shave???

I’m 36w and started getting checked by my dr last week. It completely caught me off guard and i didn’t get to shave! Do y’all shave or trim ya hair down there or leave it be?

I shave, I kinda just feel around and hope to God I don’t cut myself 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏼

I shave my bikini area but that’s really all I can do lol I might break down and ask SO to trim it soon though just because I hate the way it feels.

May sound weird but my husband shaved her for me 😂😂 I can’t see my vag anymore so every weekend I’ll get in the tub and he does it for me. So far so good and I’ve escaped without any cuts!

I've been getting Brazilian waxes since 26ish weeks. My hair is pretty sparse down there now but I don't clean up what grows in in between waxes. Doc sees whatever state things are currently in!

I stopped shaving bc they say hair helps prevent bacteria from entering. I did end up shaving about a month ago the best I could and honestly I’m not sure if I will or not before delivery. I’d get waxed but I’m to self conscious with my size lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ oh well I’m sure I’m not the only one with a hairy vag trying to have a baby 😂

I thought I was getting checked today so I went to go get a wax yesterday... but after this wax, I’ll leave it be.. 6 weeks left.
